New Prague Area Catholic Community Parish Pastoral Council:
This council monitors how the St. Wenceslaus site uses its resources, specifically how the financial resources are being used to provide ministry to our members and maintain the facilities. Responsibilities include establishing the annual site budget, producing the annual financial report, and monitoring the financial condition of the site. This is an advisory council to the pastor and PCC. Regular support and information is provided by the parish business administrator. Members serve three year terms and generally meet monthly.
Endowment Council
This is an advisory committee that makes recommendations for the management of the Endowment Fund and necessary investment decisions for the monies in the fund under management by the Catholic Community Foundation. The endowment is a dedicated fund. Only earnings generated from the investment principle can be spent. These earnings are used to supplement budgets of various boards and organizations of the parish. This council reviews requests annually and then allocates the earnings based on the needs of parish ministries and priorities.
School Advisory Council:
St. Wenceslaus Site's Cemetery Council
The purpose of the Cemetery Board is to recommend policies that assist the parish in its responsibilities to provide a burial ground for parishioners and their families, maintain cemetery buildings and grounds and records of internment, and oversee the financial records for cemetery operations and long-term maintenance needs. It is an advisory council to the pastor, charged with the responsibility for the perpetual care of the St. Wenceslaus Site's Cemetery.
