People worship God in a variety of ways but the central form of Catholic worship is the Liturgy of the Eucharist or Mass, as it is called today. The word Mass is derived from the Latin text of the priest’s dismissal of the congregation at the end of the liturgy: “lte, missa est.” Throughout the centuries the liturgy of the Church has taken a variety of regional and historical forms but one thing remains constant; the Liturgy of the Eucharist is the source for us to grow towards divine grace and to glorify God, our creator. Please see our weekly liturgy schedule that includes Mass and Word & Communion services. We invite you to join us in making your relationship with God the most important relationship in your life.
“All who are made children of God by faith and baptism should come together to praise God in the midst of his Church, to take part in the sacraments, and to eat the Lord’s Supper.”
