Adult Faith Formation

There are plenty of opportunities for adults in our parish to enrich their faith. Please watch the bulletin for events that we will be offering for our parishioners. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the Church's process of welcoming newcomers into full communion with the faith community and its mission.  It is primarily a journey of faith.  The RCIA program involves not just the newcomer or inquirer, but all members of the community who by prayer and personal example help the inquirer find a place in the faith community. Conversion is achieved through prayer and reflection on the Gospels.

Baptism Classes
For parents bringing their first child for Baptism, this is an evening of discussion and discovery on the sacrament of Baptism. This session is offered at a time convenient for the parents.  Preregistration is required.

Scripture Study
We have a Wednesday morning group that meets for prayer and discussion of the next Sunday’s scriptures.  This group meets from 7:00 am to 7:55 am in the Blessed Mother room in the lower level of St. Wenceslaus Church.
 

Marriage Encounter
Worldwide Marriage Encounter has a local encountered couples group that meets monthly.  Any couples who have made a Marriage Encounter are invited to come for a brief presentation, dialogue and social time with other couples to keep the Marriage Encounter experience alive.
